Postpartum Support

A peaceful home visit , a warm cup of tea —a symbol of the gentle pacing and deep nourishment you deserve. As a postpartum doula serving families across Greater San Antonio, I step into your home to handle the details, brew the tea, and hold a safe, supportive space so you can rest, heal, and bond with your newborn

Grief/Loss Support

A quiet space held by candlelight and flowers, honoring the heavy, sacred journey of loss. Grief can feel incredibly isolating. I provide compassionate bereavement doula care in San Antonio, offering a steady, non-judgmental presence to help you navigate physical and emotional healing during your darkest days.

Closing of the Bones Ceremony

Hand-woven rebozo cloths stacked and ready for ritual. The Closing of the Bones is an ancient postpartum ceremony designed to physically and energetically close a major life chapter. Using these traditional textiles, I gently wrap, cradle, and ground your body, helping San Antonio mothers call their energy back into their center after birth.

House of Zoe and Artemis was inspired by two enduring ideas: Zoe representing life (including spiritually) and Artemis, a symbol of protection. Together, they reflect a place of support and connection for women navigating life’s most meaningful transitions.

The Heart of the House. Welcome in! My name is Lisa Gutierrez. As a mother of six and a grandmother, my own diverse hospital and freebirth and my parenting experiences taught me a fundamental truth: women deserve to understand their options, trust their innate wisdom, and be fiercely supported in making choices right for them.

So much attention is placed on the baby—rightly so—but after the visitors go home, many mothers are left wondering, “What about me?” I am here to answer that question.
